SIX WAYS TO BURY A GOOD IDEA
It will never work.
We’ve never done it that way before.
We’re doing fine without it.
We can’t afford it.
We’re not ready for it.
It’s not our responsibility.

Chicken Run

Never
underestimate the powerful messages in an animated film, and how they
pertain to our daily personal and business challenges. If you haven’t
seen this movie, go soon.......
1. If you
have a dream, never, ever, stop pursuing it, even if you must do the
impossible to achieve it.
2. If at
first you don’t succeed, try, try again, and eventually you’ll fly
outta there!
3. When
facing insurmountable odds, bring in your friends/co-workers to
multiply the creative possibilities.
4.
Sometimes, the enemy is not the bad-guy boss or spouse, but your own
unwillingness to make the choice to either stay and die, or risk your
life trying.
5. It’s
easy to find an individual way through a challenge, but to bring along
your whole flock, takes sheer courage and sacrifice.
6. When
you can’t find the answer, perhaps it’s time to take a break and dance
a happy step for awhile.
7. It
takes all kinds to reach a goal: the tall, the plump, the old, the
good-looking, the wheeler-dealers, the cranky, the lone rangers and
the smart ones, for they all have an important part in the journey.
8. The
grass isn’t always greener on the other side, but you’d better take a
look to satisfy your imagination, or you’ll always wonder.
9. Valuing
technology more than people will always land you in the soup.
10. Never
lose your sense of humor, and if it’s waning, spend some time at a
children’s movie, eat some popcorn and forget real life for awhile. |
